The mission of the Friends of Hickam is to serve as facilitators between Hickam Air Force Base and the community. We seek to support, promote, and foster favorable relations with those associated with the United States Air Force and Hickam Field.

Members in good standing are permitted privileges allowing them limited access and utilization of some of the Hickam Field facilities. Those courtesies are extended with the understanding that our members will actively participate in base functions and activities supported by the FOH and, in addition, will participate and/or attend functions sponsored by the 15th Wing, PACAF, or JBPHH. Members are required to attend, volunteer, or participate in at least one of the Friends of Hickam major events. These include the Annual Meeting in January/February 2024, the Keiki Fishing Tournament, Commanders Reception, and any fund‐raising event.

The Friends of Hickam has a present membership limit of 125 members. All prospective members must be a U.S. citizen AND sponsored by a current and active FOH member in good standing. Applicants are subject to review and approval of the membership committee and FOH Board. A completed membership application must be submitted by anyone interested in membership. If the application for membership is approved, you will be asked to submit a check for $200.00 made payable to “Friends of Hickam.” This includes the 2024 regular membership dues of $150.00, as well as a one‐time processing fee of $50.00. Dues are not prorated.

Current policy requires prospective members AND their sponsor to appear before the Board of Directors. This allows the Board an opportunity to interview the prospective member’s interest and commitment to FOH. This is normally done at the Board’s monthly meeting. You will be notified of the location and time for your interview following the application deadline.
