Annual Friends of Hickam Golf Tournament
The Annual Friends of Hickam Golf Tournament has become quite a tradition for us, and for the last 18 years, it has helped us with the funding of our organization‘s efforts to upkeep our mission of supporting the Airmen of the 15th Wing.
Traditionally this tournament has been held annually in July but this past year, it was moved to October in order to spread the effort and resources needed to produce both this tournament and the Annual Keiki Fishing Tournament – held just one month earlier – at the end of May or beginning of June.
The annual golf tournament is played on the beautiful Mamala Bay Golf Course, tucked away on the water’s edge near the reef runway. Because of heightened requirements for gate entry, it is a much sought after venue for golf events in recent years – one of the best kept secrets for local golfers!
Typically, we host between 108 – 144 golfers in three-person teams for a day of sun, fun and camaraderie. Entry fees include a light lunch before teeing off, golf (cart included) and a post-game banquet and prize/awards ceremony.
